Textiles
Patented cooling technology
The textiles in our Polar sleep line can be divided into two categories. One includes bedding, and the other is the cover of our Polar mattress topper. Our Polar duvet covers and sheets are OEKO-TEX® certified and made from 100% washed linen, which naturally has a cooling effect on the skin. The cover on the Polar mattress topper is made of cotton, with its inside applied with small heat-regulating microcapsules in natural wax. The patented cooling technology in the capsules absorbs heat when the temperature rises and releases the opposite when the temperature falls, resulting in a stable body temperature.
Cores
Embedded graphite particles
The core of our Polar mattress topper is made from OEKO-TEX® certified foam. Embedded in the foam are small graphite particles with temperature-regulating properties. The temperature regulation occurs as the graphite particles conduct excess heat away from the body when the body temperature rises. In this way, the graphite particles help alleviate the body's many temperature fluctuations, which can cause restlessness and disrupt deep sleep.
Duvets and pillows
Specially developed microcapsules
The duvets and pillows in our Polar sleep line are OEKO-TEX® certified (standard 100), making them free from harmful chemicals. All feathers and down are Downpass certified, meaning the contents come from traceable farms and production that meets strict standards for animal welfare, ethics, and quality. The interior of the duvet and pillow covers is infused with small microcapsules containing temperature-regulating wax. The natural wax changes from solid to liquid as it absorbs excess heat when the temperature rises.
